This site does not measure visits and uses no analytics or advertising cookies. That is why it shows no consent notice.

It uses only two preference cookies that remember your choices. They are created only when you make a choice, are kept for one year and are shared across the ongen.com.tr subdomains so that Öngen ID uses the same choice:

ongen_lang: the language you chose; used to open the site in that language.
ongen_theme: the theme you chose (light, dark or system).

The account button at the top right is loaded from Öngen ID (ongenid.ongen.com.tr). To show whether you are signed in, Öngen ID checks its own session cookie; that cookie exists only once you sign in to Öngen ID and is sent only to Öngen ID’s address.

The hosting provider and Cloudflare may separately process connection and request information as part of their own services and security measures.

What is this notice for?

As Öngen İnşaat Mühendislik Yapı Elemanları Mobilya İthalat İhracat Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi (“Öngen”), we work to protect the confidentiality of personal data so that our users can benefit from our services safely and fully.

This KVKK Information Notice has been prepared so that personal data is processed in line with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) and related legislation, and to inform our users about it.

It explains for which purposes and by which methods the personal data shared with or collected by Öngen is processed while operating its platforms, including physical shops, the www.ongen.com.tr and www.ongen.tr domains, the website and the mobile app, as well as the legal grounds and your rights.

Which personal data do we process, and for what purposes?

Name, surname, email address, phone number, gender, date of birth, Turkish ID number, tax ID number, personal interests, billing and delivery addresses; cookies and cookie records needed for the platform to work; and, when you connect through social media accounts, the data you have agreed to share may be processed.

To serve our users better.
To carry out and complete orders and stay in contact.
To handle after-sales processes such as returns and exchanges.
To inform you about products, services, campaigns and promotions.
To understand shopping preferences and carry out trend and statistical analyses.
To strengthen shop and platform security.
To ensure transaction security and carry out identity verification.
To fulfil legal obligations arising from the relevant legislation.

When paying by credit card, the card number, expiry date, CVV/CVV2 code and similar details may be shared with banks. Credit or debit card details used for an order are not stored in Öngen’s systems.

How do we collect your personal data?

Through shops, business partners, suppliers, security cameras and devices.
By recording information stated verbally in shops into our systems.
Through purchases, memberships and transactions on the platform.
By recording purchases, collections, deliveries, surveys, registrations and behavioural activity.
By recording requests and complaints sent through contact channels and shops.
Through membership forms, public bodies, judicial or administrative authorities and return or inspection documents.

On which legal grounds do we process your personal data?

Your personal data is processed on the legal grounds that it is necessary to conclude or perform a contract, the legitimate interest of the data controller, explicit consent, the fulfilment of a legal obligation, it being expressly provided for by law, and the establishment, exercise or protection of rights.

To whom do we transfer your personal data, and why?

Your personal data may be transferred to third parties for the purposes stated in this notice and in line with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.

Business partners, suppliers and service providers for product delivery, logistics, after-sales support and request and complaint handling.
Providers of information technology, marketing, advertising, analytics, database, server, infrastructure maintenance and support services.
Legal and financial advisers, e-invoice and e-archive providers, independent auditors, and archiving, storage, cargo and courier services.
Authorised public bodies and organisations, judicial authorities and official institutions.
Relevant suppliers and payment institutions, to monitor suspicious transactions and prevent unlawful ones.
When a payment is made, card details are passed to the relevant bank or payment institution without being recorded by Öngen.

What are your rights?

Under Article 11 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data, you have the right to:

Learn whether your personal data is processed.
Request information if your personal data has been processed.
Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose.
Know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom your personal data is transferred.
Ask for incomplete or incorrectly processed personal data to be corrected.
Ask for your personal data to be deleted or destroyed once the reasons for processing no longer apply.
Ask for corrections and deletions to be notified to the third parties the data was transferred to.
Object to a result against you that arises from analysis by automated systems.
Claim compensation if you suffer damage because of unlawful processing.

Öngen will conclude such requests within thirty days. Depending on the nature and scope of the request, it reserves the right to charge a fee.

How can I exercise my rights?

You can submit requests under Article 11 of the KVKK in writing, in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Applications to the Data Controller, or by registered electronic mail (KEP), secure electronic signature, mobile signature or the email address registered in our system.
